Hello, I'm Sarmed

Sarmed Mirza is an award winning British Asian artist, filmmaker, and educator based in Glasgow.

He has taught hundreds of people across Scotland and beyond, helping them reconnect with their creativity through mindful, pressure free drawing.

His work has been recognised by the BAFTA New Talent Awards, the Scottish Portrait Awards, Paisley Art Institute, and reached the 2nd stage of prestigious John Moores Painting Prize.

His teaching blends meditation, deep seeing, and classical drawing methods to help people rebuild confidence, attention, and creative presence.
